Welcome to Mission Creek Ranch.
Lynda and Daryl Ramsay would like to welcome you to Mission Creek Ranch where horses and family are a way of life.
About Lynda Ramsay
Lynda was born and raised in England. While growing up she was a member of Pony Club and competed in all disciplines, including Field hunting. She went on to achieve her British Horse Society's Instructor's Certificate in 1974. Since that time, Lynda is now a certified Level III NCCP Canadian coach.
She married and moved to Canada in 1979, and shortly after set up the Hill Equestrian Centre which was named as the Western Canadian Regional Olympic Training Center. Lynda, and her husband Daryl, proceeded to operate many competitions culminating in the National Horse Trials Championships in 1989.
In 1990, Lynda and family moved to Kelowna, BC, where they have resided ever since. Lynda has a successful coaching career there, which is mostly made up of many local and Okanagan Valley students. She is in demand as a clinician throughout BC and Alberta, and aids students in the purchasing and sales of competitive horses.
Lynda has since expanded her career into Dressage judging, and is now a licensed Equine Canada Dressage judge and 3-Day Event Judge.
Lynda's philosophy of coaching is that everyone is entitled to an education and she loves to be a part of that education.
To My Students,
Male and Female, Young and Old,
If I have one wish for you all,
It's to find something you can feel passionate about,
It will give you Joy, Energy, and Creativity.
Dream big dreams,
For you don't know yet how good you really are.
